John Cook Williams, Jr., 72, of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2021 after a short illness. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend.

John proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years and was a loyal employee of Fed Ex for 17 years until he retired.

John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathi Lewis Williams, his parents, John C., Sr. and Millie Lee Williams, a brother, Elvis Williams and sister, Diane Hess.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeremy L. Williams (Trina), Jason C. Williams, 4 grandchildren, Kitana Williams, Ashton Williams, Defarea Anderson, Pasion Young; six great-great grandchildren, C` Niya Standard, Kelcie Hawkins, Payton Young, journey Hawkins, Addison Anderson, Neveyah Anderson; one brother, Edward Williams and a host of other family members.

The family will receive friends at Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home, Saturday, April 10 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
