Johnnie D. "Jd" Parks' Obituary
J.D. Parks, 86, of Memphis, TN, passed away on July 6, 2013. He was a retired Captain with Memphis Police Department and a Navy Veteran. Mr. Parks is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Minnie Parks; daughter, Noma Wood; son-in-law, Dale Wood; grandsons, Bo Wood and his wife, Sheri, Colton Wood; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Tessa. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 and service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
