Johnny Thomas Hood, 75, of Cordova, TN passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis. Mr. Hood was born in Memphis to the late Carl O. and Elaine Hood. He was a graduate of Whitehaven High School and served in the United States Army. He was a retired foreman for the Illinois Central Railroad. Johnny loved his family and enjoyed gardening. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Carolyn J. Hood; his children: Pam Harris (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Daniel Hood (Jackie) of Southaven, MS, David Hood (Jane) of Germantown and Phillip Hood (Helen) of Southaven; his grandchildren: Parker, Landon, Will, Jude, Sadie and Finn Hood; one sister, Loretta Crisp of Millington, TN and brother, Carl Hood (Emma) of Olive Branch, MS. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 am Tuesday, April 25 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
