Johnny "Jay" H. Bishop, 76, Marine Corps veteran, died May 24, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Joann and five children: sons, Keith, Michael, John, Jeff and daughter, Donna Rigsby. He has three sisters, Joan, Sue and Jerry; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bishop fought in The Golden Gloves, was an independent businessman, an avid golfer, rain or shine, and lived in Olive Branch, MS for 17 years. He was born in Munford, TN and lived in Memphis, TN until moving to Olive Branch, MS. Service will be 3 p.m., Friday, May 29 with visitation from 1-3 p.m., prior to service at Forest Hill Funeral Home South on East Holmes Road.
