Jorge Mario Gardeazabal, 63, of Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2024.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jorge was the beloved son of mother Pilar Conde Arnaiz and preceded in death by his father Mario Gardeazabal Barriga.

At the age of 14 he began studying aviation. By 16 he was already working in this field. Jorge graduated from SENAI VASP and went on to have a successful career as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician.

Jorge is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 45 years, Ingrid Matrowitz Gardeazabal, his son Daniel, his devoted daughters, Rebeca, Sahra and Debora, preceded in death by his loving son Isaac, and also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Lea, Adham, Amna, Tala, Toleen and Dana, Wilson and Wyatt, Beatriz, Benjamin and Emma.

A funeral service to celebrate Jorge's life will be held at Forest Hill Home & Memorial Park - East at 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133 on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 2 pm with visitation hours starting 12:30 pm.

Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.
