Joseph Kent "Gilbo" Gilbert, 60, of Memphis, died July 29, 2012. He retired from Bell South serving 35 years and was a friend to all, touching many hearts with his lively spirit. He leaves this world but will always live in the hearts that he left on this earth. Gilbo loved his friends as family. Mr. Gilbert leaves his wife, Ramona Gilbert; son, Bryce (Robin) Gilbert; two grandchildren, Logan and Lily Gilbert; daughter, Beth (Dr. Doug) Haltom; three grandchildren, Haynes, Miller and Luke Haltom; a step son, Dustin (Stacie) Lang; two grandchildren, Joseph and Courtney; and one sister, Marylin (Rick) Tillman. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 and service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
