Joseph L. Holloway, born October 23, 1930, went to be with his Lord on November 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Bette Holloway, his parents Tom and Elma Woodfin and his brother Hal Holloway. He is survived by his daughters Carol Adams (Gary), Gayle Buckman (Mark) and son Mark Holloway. He also has 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Mississippi College with a BS degree and served in the Korean War. He was an accountant for Memphis Light Gas & Water and retired after 35 years. He was an organist for more than 50 years and played for several churches including Bartlett Baptist, Broadmoor Baptist and Trinity Baptist. He was the Treasurer for the Memphis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists for 19 years. He loved music, travel and spending time with family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Baptist Church or the Memphis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
