Southaven - Joseph E. Manning, 96, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 2 at Forest Hill South with visitation Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Pauline G. Manning. He leaves two daughters, LaWanda McCaskey of Bartlett and Janet D. Hall of Southaven; two sons, Jerry Manning of Memphis and Jimmy Manning of New Mexico; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
