Joseph "Mack" Perry, 81, of Hernando, MS passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016. Mr. Perry was born October 20, 1935 to Eugene and Mildred Perry. He is a 1953 graduate of Messick High School in Memphis, TN. Mr. Perry served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1953-1957. He married the love of his life, Mary Jo Ferguson on March 14, 1958. He played tennis for Memphis State University. GTG! He graduated in 1960 with a bachelor''s degree in marketing. After a lengthy career in sales he retired from MCSI in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Perry; 3 children: Joseph Michael Perry(Donna), David Timothy Perry(Kim), and Lori Perry Hudson(Todd Letzring); grandchildren: Cammie Perry, Justin Perry, Billy Stevens(Kate), Christy Stevens(Dale), Samantha Wing(Matt), Peyton Perry, MaryBeth Perry, and Shelby Perry; 4 great-grandchildren: Matthew Wing, Aiden Wing, Jax Wing, and Josh Dillard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Perry loved to bowl, fish, and hunt. He was the president of the Ely Walker Bowling League. Most importantly he was dedicated to his family, whether that be coaching little league baseball, being a Boy Scout leader, taking kids to play practice, and the list goes on. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2-4 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South. A funeral service will be Monday morning at 11:00 at Eudora Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hill, South.
