Joseph Allen Watkins, 28 of Southaven, MS. entered the arms of Jesus, Wednesday April 14, 2021. Joey was a devoted friend, loving son, and brother. Crazed Memphis Tigers Fan, sports enthusiast, chicken tender and french fry connoisseur and a passionate father. Joey was a lover, he was a social butterfly and he did not meet a stranger. He was confident and kind and loved by all. Joey loved life.

He was born on November 3, 1992 in Memphis, TN To Pamela (Jo) Allen Watkins and John Ray Watkins. He is survived by his parents Pamela and John Watkins, Grandparents Jerry Ray Watkins and Glenda Faye Watkins, partner Rachel Dowen and Son Greyson Joe Dowen, brother and sister in law Shane Ray Watkins and Karrah Leeanne Morgan, His nieces and nephews Hadlee Faith Watkins, Austyn Grayce Watkins, Collier Brandt Watkins and Granger Riggs Watkins, amongst many other family members he loved and cherished dearly. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Joe Wayne Allen and Betty Charlene Allen.

A visitation will be held for Joey on April 20, 2021 followed by a funeral on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 2 pm at Forest Hill Funereal Home East in Memphis, TN. Burial to follow at Forest Hill South. In honor of Joey, We ask you wear blue, white or Memphis Tiger apparel for the funeral service.
