Josephine Francis Gertiser Wilson, 99 of Memphis, TN died at the Methodist Hospice Monday, January 12, 2015. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with interment to follow. After working 27 years at Lowenstein''s East as manager over five departments, Josephine retired when the store closed. Subsequently, she worked for Burlington Coat Factory in the fur department and Target at the fitting room door. In 2002 Josephine retired at the ripe young age of 88. Josephine was preceded in death by her father, John Gertiser and her mother, Katherine Demery. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Deanna Davidson (George), Jean Hines (Charlie), Barbara Hardin (David), and Linda Screws (Jim); sons, Billy Wilson (JoAnne), Danny Wilson, and Timothy Wilson (Rechell); 22 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
