Joy Griffin Burlison, 79, of Bartlett, TN passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023.   Mrs. Burlison was a graduate from Immaculate Conception High school in Memphis, TN.   She was a homemaker, SYS cheer and track coach for many & also worked at First TN Mortgage several years.  Her favorite hobbies were gardening, fishing & traveling with her late husband.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. and Willie Mae Griffin,  and her husband, Charles M. Burlison Sr. of 55  years. She leaves her 3 children:  Chuck Burlison (Sheila) of Martin, TN, Greg Burlison of Nashville, TN and Dana Burlison Smith (David) of Lakeland, TN; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent to ST. Jude Children's Hospital.
