Obituary

Joy was born August 11, 1933 to the late Edgar Newell Milton and Earlene Grantham Milton in Jackson Ms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edgar N, "Buddy" Milton Jr. and son Kelly Eugene Swain.

She is survived by two sons, Charles E " Chuck" Swain Jr. {Maryann}, Michael D, Swain {Amy}, two daughters Kathryn S. "Kathy:" Kenney{Bob} and Nancy S. Toney{Gary}. Twelve Grandchildren Sally Wipple {Bobby}, Andy Swain{Andrea}, Hunter Swain{Sylvia}, Charles E. "Chase" Swain lll, Joshua Swain, Nicholas Swain, Stephanie Swain{Josh}, twins Michele and Julia Swain, Brett Toney{Ashley}, Brandon Toney{Ashley}, and Bradford Toney.

She had fourteen Great Grandchildren Colin, Katie, Mason, Madelyn, Maverick, Preston, Garner, Parker, Savannah, Grayson, Katherine Joy, Cooper, Sabastian, and Luca.

Joy was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and in earlier years of Boulevard Baptist Church.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Eddie, her sweetheart of four and a half years and husband of 71 years.

She was a graduate of Southside High School class of 1951 and A.B. Hill School.

As a young girl she was a member of Rainbow Girls, a Masonic organization of the McLemore Ave Eastern Star for Women. She attended many formal dances with Eddie and had lots of fun.

Joy loved to travel with Eddie and enjoyed the opportunity to make many trips around the world.
