Joyce "Sugar" Allen (Mamaw), 89, was born on April 24 th 1932 in Whiteville TN to the late Walter and Francis Young Thomas. She passed at home the morning of September 30 th peacefully surrounded by her loving family..
Joyce enjoyed spending time outdoors watching and listening to the birds. She loved going junking, antiques and rearranging furniture. She loved to decorate especially at Christmas time.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Fred E.Allen Sr., her parents, sisters Nancy, Mary Jane, her brother Ed and daughter in law Jana.
Joyce leaves behind to cherish memories her sons Fred Jr. and Michael G.Allen (Patti), grandchildren Emily Turner (Harold), Zach Allen (Lisa), John Austin Allen (Jill), Andrew Allen, great grandchildren Hailey and Hayden Samples, Cruz and Ivy Allen and many bonus greats, and one great great granddaughter Lainey Grace Samples.also leaving many nieces and nephews as well.
