Joyce Eileen Langford, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1930, in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Cora McDaniel.

A graduate of St. Joeph School of Nursing, she dedicated her career to caring for others as the head nurse of the St. Joseph Operating Room. She was widely admired for her skill in China painting. An award-winning China painter, she expressed her creativity with remarkable talent and passion. A devoted wife and mother, she lived her life with kindness, strength, and a deep Christian faith that guided all she did.

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward D. Langford; sister, Jewel Johnson; and brothers, Eldon McDaniel, Gerald McDaniel, and Darrell McDaniel.

She is survived by her loving son, Jerry Langford.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts forever.
