Oakland – Joyce Melana Street, 74, of Oakland, TN died peacefully at her home after battling a long illness. She was a retired homemaker and was a long time member of the Church of Christ near Memphis, including Getwell, Ellendale, Somerville, and Oakland congregations. She joins her late husband, William "Art" Street and is survived by son, Shad (Katherine) Street, of Wendell, NC; daughter, Shelli (Ronnie) Sewell  of Covington, TN; and son Shaine (Jennifer) Street of Spring Hill, TN; and twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Joyce enjoyed horses, gardening, and attending church services.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the Great Oaks Church of Christ Building Fund or The American Veterans. Visitation will be 9AM Monday, 4-14-25 followed by services at 10AM, both at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
