Juanita Townsend, 80, passed away at Baptist DeSoto on Friday, May 10, 2019.  The widow of Ray Townsend, she is survived by two daughters, Pamela Glover (Kenny) of Hernando, MS and Dena Birmingham (Kristian) of Hernando; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Browning of Southaven, MS; two brothers, Herbert Sumner, of Tillatobia, MS and Malcolm Sumner of Horn Lake, MS, and many nieces and nephews.   Family and friends will gather to share memories from 9:30 am – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by services at 11:00 a.m. at Church Road Baptist Church, 3660 Church Road, Horn Lake, MS.  Interment will be at Forest Hill South Cemetery (901) 775-0310
