IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Ann
Lambert
October 13, 1938 – January 15, 2025
Judith Ann Lambert, 86
Passed away peacefully on Jan 15th, 2025, in Memphis Tennessee. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 13th, 1938, to Roscoe and Helen Deem in Indianapolis, Indiana, Judy lived most of her adult life in Memphis, Tennessee.
She loved bowling, camping, fishing, and nature. More than anything, she was happiest in the company of her family and friends. Her family was her passion, and she made every effort to be a meaningful part of their lives.
Judy had a great ambition for living life to its fullest. Judy 's interests were as expansive as her travels. A member of the esteemed "300 Club", she was part of a women's bowling league into her 80s. She loved to bake and was famous for her pies and birthday cakes.
Judy also had a strong work ethic. In 1971, she supported her (then) husband in starting up Lambert's Coffee Service. In 1985, she began working for C. E. Thompson Lumber Company where she retired in 1996. Instead of fully retiring, she worked at Lambert's Coffee Service with her two sons until she was 86 years old and was well loved by her coworkers. During this time, she was active in volunteering with the Mid-South Optimist Club. Judy had a way of making everyone she encountered feel special and important. She taught and exemplified the importance of family and love of the outdoors. She will be missed, though her spirit will live on through the memories of her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her brothers: Murphy Deem, Jerry Deem and grandson Michael William Lambert II
