Junior Hood, 71, formerly of Old Home Town, Memphis passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Ashland Health and Rehab of Ashland, MS. Mr. Hood is preceded in death by his parents: Russell Thomas and Adelene Tartt Hood and one brother Ronnie Hood. He leaves one brother, Jimmy Hood (Lana) of Horn Lake; 10 nieces and nephews, also 16 great-nieces and nephews. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26 at Forest Hill South with visitation Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Entombment will be in Forest Hill South Mausoleum.
