Katherine Ivey Teuton, 93, of Como, MS passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Ms. Teuton was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Teuton;son,Steve Teuton;sister,Dorothy Curtis and brothers; William, James and Clarence Teuton.  She is survived by her son , David Teuton(Linda);grandchildren, Gary Teuton(Laura) and Deana Cathey(Greg)and great-grandchildren;Cole,Sydney,Collins,Cody,Ainsley and Avery. As a young lady, Ms. Teuton worked on the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge , TN. In her later years, she volunteered at the VA hospital in Memphis. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 3:30-4:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm. All services will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East.
