Katherine Joann Griffiths Wells died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis at the age of 84. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of the late Joseph Richard and Vivian Vay Chappell Griffiths.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband, Martin Wells of Bartlett, TN; one daughter, Vivian Cross (Richard) of Covington, TN; two sons, Richard Konchalski (Tracy) of Bartlett, TN and Michael Wells (Michelle) of Fresno, CA; eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Louise Svejda and one brother, Charles Griffiths.
