Nesbit - KATHLEEN ROWE, 93, passed away peacefully in her home in the presence of her two daughters. The widow of Al Rowe, she is survived by two daughters, Patsy Goodin, Nesbit and Linda Henderson, Coldwater; four grandchildren, Josh Goodin, Memphis, Katie Baker, Austin, TX, Beth Goodin, Nashville, and Sally Mayfield, Germantown; two sisters, Bess Griffin, Nesbit, Leca Jaynes, Southaven; one brother, Jimmy Holland, Memphis; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Wes. Kathleen was a homemaker while assisting her husband, Al in his wholesale furniture business. She was a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church since 1959, where she had taught Sunday school. While living in Whitehaven, she was an active member of the community, serving as treasurer of Kennedy Book Club, Girl Scout leader, officer in Whitehaven School PTA, and was in several garden clubs. Her interests included traveling, collecting antiques and gardening. She was a wonderful cook and talented seamstress. Visitation is 10-11 a.m., Friday, July 18 followed by services at 11 a.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar.
