Kathleen F. Wright, 93, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 31, 2018. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Doss S. Wright; parents: Elton and Beulah Newman; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers. She is survived by daughter, Joan Goodson(Mark); son, Sherman Wright(Delsie); daughter, Janice Sanders(Greg); grandchildren: Audra Bunni(Zahar), Kelly Galloway(Randall), Shannon Davis, Jenny Upchurch(Tim), Chellye Wright, Nikki Dorning(Jimmy), Landon Wright(Kim), Sean Sanders, and Nathaniel Sanders(Skye); 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sarah King. Mrs. Wright was member of White Station Baptist Church for 60 years where she faithfully served the Lord. She loved God, her husband, and her children with her whole heart. She also loved to garden. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 3-5 pm with a funeral service Monday, June 4 ^th at 10:00 am. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East on Whitten Rd. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Love Offering for Jesus at Kirby Woods Baptist Church.
