Kathryn D. Dixon (née Droke) (b June 28, 1924) passed peacefully at home on December 23, 2022 at the age of 98 ½.

She will be missed by her family and is survived by her nephew, Bill Droke; great-nephew, David Droke; and an assortment of daughters- and sons-in law she happily acquired when she married her beloved James C (Jim) Dixon (d 2020). She had previously been widowed by the passing of her first husband, the late Robert Farris.

She led the way as a modern working woman and spent 30 years in the insurance industry at Marx & Bendorf, working her way up from the mailroom to executive administration. She also worked in the office of her church, Longstreet United Methodist.

There will be a graveside service for the family on Friday, December 30th, 2022 at Forest Hill South.
