Katie Beatrice Howell Crump, 93, of Hernando, MS passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. Mrs. Crump retired from Hunter Fan Company after 30 years. She was a member of Hunters Run Church of Christ in Southaven. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Gordon Howell and William T. Crump; her daughter, Janice Howell and two brothers: Dewitt and Winfred Branch. Katie leaves three children: Cornelia Cross (Barry) of Hernando, Shirley Maes (George) of Summerville, SC and Patricia Harrington of Memphis; one sister, Polly Matthews of Jackson, TN; one brother, Benson "Sonny" Branch of Winona, MS; six grandchildren: Dewayne Cross, Virina Archer, Jason Maes, Angela Engelhart, Jamie Harrington Hollie and Rex "Trey" Harrington; 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
