Kay Kinsley Cross, 80, was summoned home by the angels on May 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl R. Cross. Kay leaves behind five children, Dawn Cross Nunnally of Memphis, Woody Cross of Oregon, Tom Cross (Jane) of Memphis, David Cross (Sue) of Chicago, and Joe Cross (Jeanne) of Pennsylvania. She also leaves one sister, Carol Bizzarri of Florida and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Cross was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Memphis, Second Ward and was a former Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Germantown Lodge. She was a bookkeeper for Walgreens for over 20 years and enjoyed life, good food and friends. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 9 and service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with entombment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
