Kenneth Rex Dyson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on January 15, 1934, Kenneth attended Humes High School in Memphis, Tennessee and later dedicated his life to ministry as an evangelist and Pastor for 70 years. He pastored the Raleigh Pentecostal Church for 28 years. Kenneth was a veteran of the Korean war in 1952.

Kenneth was not only a man of deep faith but also a passionate golfer, known for his impressive achievement of five holes-in-one, with his last remarkable shot on the 4th hole at Muirfield in Scotland. His love for the game was something he shared with his family, enjoying countless rounds of golf with his sons, grandchildren, and many friends. He was a member of Colonial Country Club in Memphis Tennessee.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary Dyson, and his four sons, Rusty Dyson, Ronnie Dyson, Tim Dyson (Kelly), and Todd Dyson (Kathy), 10 grandchildren, Shannon Dyson (Jill), Cher Berberich (Emmett), Adrian Dyson (Jamie), Aaron Dyson (Brandi), Preston Dyson, Paris Dyson, Chase Dyson, Tyler Dyson, Brennen Dyson, Shanna Dyson, and 13 great grandchildren. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue through his family, who will forever cherish the moments spent together on and off the golf course.

A funeral service to honor Kenneth's life will be held at Waypoint Baptist Church, 5586 Stage Rd, Bartlett, TN, on August 12th, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00- 1:00, service 1:00pm. Friends and family are invited to attend as we celebrate a life well-lived.
