Kenneth Kel ly McNair, Jr, age 72, of Bartlett TN, born January 26, 1948 passed away Saturday , September 26, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Kelly McNair, Sr., mother Cara Ma e McNair, and brother Ed McNair , all of Memphis.

Kenneth graduated from Frayser High School in 1966. After high school, Kenneth spent 25 years with the Memphis Police Department retiring in 1994. His smile was infectious and he loved music from the 50's and 60's. He never met a stranger and could tell great stories often talking to anyone who would listen.

Family was Kenneth's number one priority. He explained that he had nightly talks with God in which he mentioned each family member by name. Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife Marsha of 53 years, children Kris Smith ( husband Ronnie), Marshelle Garrison ( husband Mike), and Lucas McNair ( wife Haley ), three granddaughters Hayley Garrison, Taylor Garrison, and Reagan Smith, and three grandsons Luke McNair, Blake S mith, and Landen McNair, along with beloved friends and extended family.

Kenneth was known and loved by many – friends, co-workers, family, and guys and gals he once coached. He was a hero, a great man, a cool cat, great team leader, KK, a great boss, a funny man, McNair, one of th e three baddest men in Memphis, Captain Ken, Kenny, Uncle Kenneth, Chief, Dad, Papa. He left a legacy, a footprint, and happy memories to cherish always.
