Kenneth A. Mitchell, Sr., 84, of Brunswick, TN, born May 10, 1931 in Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2015. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, retired from MLG & W, and a member of Brunswick Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his two daughters, Debra Bizzle and Cheryl (Steve) Harris; three grandchildren, Preston Bizzle, Keri Shook and Samuel Harris; five great grandchildren; a great great grandchild and two sisters. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Ester; and son, Kenneth, Jr. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Brunswick. Memorials may be sent to BCPC, P.O. Box 67, Brunswick, TN, 38014.
