Kenneth L. Taylor, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 27 th at his Collierville home with family by his side. Kenneth was born December 7, 1939, in Charlotte Arkansas to parents Logan and Daisy Ellen Taylor. Kenneth graduated from Bartlett High School where he was well known for his athletic achievements. After attending Arkansas State University, Kenneth served in the Arkansas Army National guard before
beginning a long career in the lumber industry with Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company. An avid golfer, Kenneth played every chance he could and even competed in many semi-pro tournaments. When he wasn't playing golf, Kenneth loved to watch the Memphis Tigers play. He was a
long-time member of the Highland Hundred Club and enjoyed tailgating with his family and friends. If the Tigers were playing, he was watching. The strong silent type, Kenneth was admired by many and always there to lend a helping hand. He loved his family, working in his yard, feeding the deer and spending time with those he loved.

Kenneth married Sue, the love of his life, in 1962 and soon started a family. He is survived by his three children: David Taylor (Michelle), Suzanne Stevenson (Jim), and Laura Taylor along with his cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends that will carry his legacy into the future.

Services for Kenneth will be held Thursday, July 6 th at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road in Memphis. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:00pm with a graveside service immediately following.
