Larry Wayne Johnson, 87, was preceded in death by his parents William B. Johnson, Sarah Forbes Johnson and his beloved son, Layne Allen Johnson on October 22nd, 2022.

Larry was married to his childhood sweetheart, Linda Pratt Johnson for 66 years, and they dated for five years prior to marriage. Both were graduates from South Side High School, in Memphis Tennessee.

Larry actively participated in high school sports and was a major fan of many sports, especially football and golf. He also enjoyed flying single engine planes recreationally.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda and a precious daughter Laura and three granddaughters. He was lovingly called PAPA by five great grandchildren.

Larry and Linda were both long time members of Hernando Methodist Church.

Larry will be missed greatly by a heartbroken family and a wealth of friends.
