My father Larry O Johnston passed away late this afternoon after a brief battle with lung cancer. I am saddened for our loss, but I am glad that he is not in pain anymore and not suffering. My mother and I had just been up to see him and he was sleeping. He was peaceful. My mother, sister, and I got to be with him before he passed. Anyone who knew him knew that he loved to talk, tell stories, and tell jokes. I don't know anyone who did not like my father, he lit up a room with his big personality. We didn't always see eye to eye, but I have to thank him for everything he did for me and taught me throughout my life. He will be missed by many. I love you daddy and I know you are in Heaven telling jokes and laughing.

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. Thank all the people who have helped me while he was in the hospital. I couldn't have done it all without my friends and family.
