Larry Wayne Saylors born January 16, 1952 passed in peace on September 7, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Lillie Meyers Saylors, and one brother, Ronnie Saylors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Marvina Dean Saylors, five children, April Lynn Hollis, Melissa Anne Mankin, Larry Wayne Saylors II, Ronnie Birmingham, and Melissa Heck.  He was blessed with seven grandchildren, Drew West, Charlotte Mankin, Jessica Brasher, Brandi Swindle, Ashley Birmingham, Abigail Heck, Maggie Heck, and Connor Birmingham and one Great grandchild Noah Swindle.  Mr. Saylors was a United States Army Veteran and served his country proudly.  He loved nothing more than his Lord, Church and his family.  Larry's perfect day was to be in the deer stand by dawn and have a big buck in his sights by daybreak.  By noon be on number one tee striping it down the middle. By 4'0 Clock throwing some meat on the grill while watching Alabama football on the tube and shouting "Roll Tide". By 8'0 Clock be looking into Marvina's eyes expressing how much he loves her, holding her in his arms as he drifts off to sleep.   Visitation with his family will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 1:00~2:00 pm with his funeral service following at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill East. 901-382-1000
