LARRY W. WHALEY, SR., 68, retired machinist for JT Shannon, and a Free Mason, died January 26, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, and Service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, both at Forest Hill East Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his wife, Trudy Whaley, and his grandson, Neil Rogers. He leaves a daughter, Amy Whaley Rogers and husband, Brad; his son, Larry W. Whaley, Jr., and a daughter, Robin Fleming; and four grandchildren, Alexandria Rogers, Abigail Rogers, Jacob Waymire and Eric Holmes.
