Lauren Ray Davis, Jr., 92, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 16, 2015. Mr. Davis was born in Brookhaven, MS to Ray and Mamie Davis. He is an Army veteran and graduate of Auburn University. He was also a charter member of Graceland Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of sixty seven years, Jane DavisÍ two children: Mary Sue Monaghan and Ray Davis III (Becky)Í six grandchildrenÍ thirteen great-grandchildrenÍ and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from10-11:00 am on Thursday August 20, 2015 with a funeral service at 11:00Í All to be held at Longstreet United Methodist Church on Airways Blvd, where he has been a member for several years. Interment will follow at Stephenson Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Longstreet United Methodist Church.
