Laurie Ann Warrington went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1958. She was 66 years old. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1976. While employed in various jobs, Laurie found her true calling in entertaining through cooking. She was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning her own restaurant when she and her son David acquired The Haystack restaurant in Millington 15 years ago. As it was Laurie's nature, she supported local musicians and opened her restaurant to charitable organizations for fund raising.

Laurie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Warrington and her father, William Arnold Hays. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Marie Binkley Hays; two sons, David Lee Bell, Jr. (Carrie) and William Andrew Bell (Susan); grandchildren, Ryder, Reagan Rose, Viola Quinn; her siblings, Richard Hays (Leslie), Kathryn Crafton (Mike), Sandra Powell (Steve); nephews, Richard Hays, Christoper Crafton, Chadwick Crafton, Joseph Powell, Jonathan Powell and Jacob Powell; niece, Lauren Hendrix and 11 great nephews and nieces.

Laurie's greatest loves were her grandchildren, they were what kept her battling cancer for the last several years. She never met a stranger and would do without to help others. Laurie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
