Laverne B. Hill, 96, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Mrs. Hill was a 1944 graduate of Dyess High School in AR. She retired as office manager from IBEW Local 474 after having begun working there in 1983, prior to that she held the same position with UAW Local 988 at International Harvester from 1947 to 1983.

Laverne was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Arnold Hill, Sr.; her parents, Horace and Clytee  Bradley; her brother, Charles (Lois) Bradley; four sisters, Ottaline (Harlin) Wilson, Edwina (Garland) Weatherford, Loretta (Doug) Alexander, and Sandra (Jerry) Pence; also one grand-daughter, Hollie Spivey and great-grand-daughters Mercy and Grace Whiteaker.

She leaves two son's Clifford Hill, Jr. (Micki), Philip A. Hill; her daughter, Rebecca Spivey (Andy) and step-daughter, Sharon Lyman (John); 7 grandchildren, Travis Hill, Casey Whiteaker (Jason), Grant Spivey (Jessie), Gregory Spivey, Mathew Spivey and Jason Lyman; 7 great-grandchildren, Gavin,  Dylan, and Corgan Whiteaker, Ryden and Marleigh Spivey, Joshua and Josie Rodriguez; also two sisters, Shirley Armour (Harold) and Ann Jennings (Bobby).
