Lawrence Fred Krug, 90, born August 10, 1931, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at his home in Memphis, TN. He leaves behind his wife, Joan Krug; six children, Cindy Krug (Carlos Ralda), Ken Krug (Sharon Church), Chris Krug (Theresa Curtis), Larry Krug, Margo Krug  (Tony Bateman), Laura Krug (Bruce Piwonka); 14 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

He was born in St. Louis, MO and his family moved to Memphis, TN in 1937. He Graduated from Catholic High in 1949, and was a reservist in the CB. Larry married his wife of 70 years, Joan King, on May 19, 1951. Mr. Krug worked at Hartwell Brothers Handles in Memphis, TN for over 40 years, enjoyed bird hunting, deep sea fishing and spending time with his family at Greers Ferry Lake.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 1:00-2:00p.m at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
