Mrs. Leatha Dunnigan-Powers, 78, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Hubert Powers; 2 daughters, Janice Dunnigan-Gaston; Sharon Brooks; 1 sister, Lula Mae Taylor; 1 brother, Jesse Neely; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends, 5-7 pm, Friday, March 21, at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown. Funeral services will be at 12 pm, Saturday at Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church.
