Lee Earl Moffitt McByde died Monday, August 1, 2016, at Kirby Pines, Memphis TN. She had just celebrated her 101st birthday with a party last week. Lee Earl was born in Ripley, MS to John Moffitt and Azalee Rowell Moffitt on July 21, 1915. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and her husband, Richard O. McBryde, Sr. of Memphis and her daughter, Betty McBryde Brady, of Monticello, GA. She is survived by her children: Richard O. McBryde (Donna) of Memphis; John McBryde of Crested Butte, CO; Charlotte McBryde Cooper (Rick) of Memphis; a son-in-law, Dr. Tom Brady (Betty) of Monticello, GA and a daughter-in-law , Nancy McBryde Snuggs of Dallas, TX. Her grandchildren include Mark McBryde, Eric McBryde (Melissa); Cara Cooper Baker (Scott), Craig Cooper (Laurie); Ryan Cooper of Memphis; Pam McBryde and Alan McBryde of Dallas, TX; Kim Brady McMichael (Jay) ; Andy Brady (Sonja) and Scott Brady (Traci) of Monticello, GA and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters: Mrs. Ann Cross of Collierville, TN, Mrs. Geneva Mauney of Rilpey, MS and Mrs. Hermie Moore of Memphis; one brother, Bud Moffitt (Olgie) of Iuka, MS and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lois Moffitt and Mrs. Margaret Moffitt of Memphis as well as many loving nieces and nephews and extended family. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
