Obituary

From Randy and Greg….  After 91 years on Earth, our Dad Lee Earl McClain left here to be with our Mom Virginia for eternity.  While here, he did his part to keep us all free by serving in the US Air Force (Korean War), was an amazing husband and father, raised 2 sons, made sure we all had phone service for over 30 years (way before cell phones), coached us in little league basketball and baseball, was a great Scout Master, loved to strum the guitar with his friends, and kept everyone around him laughing and smiling.  He led us both by example… he taught us to be kind, to have great character, to know right from wrong…strive for right, care for other people, give help when needed, and love your family.  When we were kids, he spent countless hours in the shop woodworking with us, that seems like yesterday.  Playing golf together was priceless.  He made sure we understood that finishing something when you start is important.  We always told each other "I love you", and for that we will forever be grateful.  Thank you Dad for absolutely everything and enjoy Heaven with Mom.

Lee leaves behind two sons, Randy McClain (Jeanie) and Greg McClain (Karen); one brother, James McClain (Sandra); 5 grandchildren, Krista McClain Lallemand, Tommie Garrett (Wade), Amber Garrett (Reed), Ramsey McClain and Wesley McClain; ten grandchildren, Sophia Grace Lallemand, Riley Garrett, Tyler Garrett, Gage Garrett, Macey Garrett, Lucas Garrett, Carly Garrett, Jenna Garrett, Georgia Garrett, and Brady Garrett; and one caregiver/family friend Gloria Butler.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hitt McClain; his parents Otis and Maudie McClain; three sisters, Nelda Faye Nunn, Dorothy Marie Dickey, and Mary Pauline Patton; and one brother RB McClain.
