Perryville - LELA VICTORIA THOMAS, born August 28, 1911, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the age of 102. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Perryville, AR. Mrs. Thomas, "Memaw", was married to C.A. "Papaw" Thomas for 61 years, until his passing in 1996. She was the beloved matriarch of her family which includes three children: Agnes Moore (Billy Joe) of Perryville, Art Thomas of Little Rock and Wanda Hodges (Bob) of Kilgore, TX; and 10 grandchildren, Connie Williams (Tony), Loretta Underwood (Randy), Thomas Barnes (Cathy), Patrick Thomas (Jesslynn), Jon Thomas (Susan), Alan Thomas, Chris Thomas, Brent Hodges (Amanda), Jill Wright (Steve), Jamie Quinlan (Larry); two step-grandchildren, Shirley Manning (Jerry) and Randy Moore (Gay); 11 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, Memphis, TN; visitation at 9 a.m., with service following at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
