Lemmie B. Cunningham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. He was born on February 18,1942 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Wynn and Eunice Cunningham. 

Lemmie was a car enthusiasm with a kind spirit. He wore many hats throughout his life, working as a printer, welder, and truck driver. Above all, he was a devoted family man and a compassionate supporter of those with special needs. He will be remembered for his generosity, strong work ethic, and joy he brought others. 

Lemmie is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Terry Cunningham; son, Jefferey Cunningham; sister, Deelane Wright; and brother, Wendall Cunningham. 

Lemmie leaves to cherish his memory sons, Gregory Cunningham of Memphis, Tennessee, Bradly Cunningham of Memphis, Tennessee, and Kevin Cunningham of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Lana Cooper of Dyer, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Joanne Cunningham; and grandchildren, Jeremy Cunningham of Hernando, Mississippi, Justin Cunningham, Jacob Cunningham, and Taylore Ferguson; great grandchildren, Isabella Cuningham, Jemma Cunningham, and Griffin Ferguson. 

Lemmie was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts forever.
