Lena D. Hartie, 88, of Memphis, TN., died Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was retired from Sears, a member of Bartlett Baptist Church where she was a member of her beloved Sunday School Class, Ruth Connect Group. Mrs. Hartie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hartie; son, John Hartie and eight siblings. She is survived by her nieces, Linda Ladner of Germantown, TN; Janet Bushbaum of Mt. Juliet, TN; great nieces, Tricia Ladner and Beth Berkow. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1-2 P.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 with services to follow at 2 P.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Bartlett Baptist Church.
