Leona Pearl Stanley Sadler, 93, passed away June 27, 2016 at DeSoto Health Care in Southaven, MS. The widow of Debs Sadler, she is survived by two daughters, Donna Hardy (Lewis) of Hernando; Debbie O''Brien (Jeff) of Liverpool, NY; three grandchildren, Jim Hardy, Christie O''Brien; Jeffrey O''Brien; and one great granddaughter, Hannan Hardy. She was born April 14, 1923 in Casper, WY, where she met her future husband, Debs Sadler. After moving to Memphis they were charter members of Graceland Baptist Church. As a longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church she was active in numerous aspects of ministry. Her love of the Lord led her to write a small book which has been translated into 22 languages and carried around the world by missionaries to spread the Gospel. She was also privileged to travel on numerous international mission trips. The family requests any memorials to be sent to Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary or Longview Point Baptist Church, Foreign Missions Offering. Family and friends will gather to share memories at 1 pm, Friday with services to follow at 2 pm. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown on S. Elvis Presley Blvd.
