Leonard R . Hasty, 93 , passed away on November 24 , 2020, in Memphis, TN with his sons Larry and Nathan by his side. Born March 10, 1927 in Eureka, Il, when he was eighteen he joined the US Navy a nd served during WW II, Korea and Vietnam . While in the Navy he met and married the love of his life , Mary. Upon his retire ment , after twenty-one years of service, they settled in Millington, TN where he was known as Bob Hasty or "Hasty". He enjoyed rebuilding wrecked automobiles, a good cup of coffee and making the rounds to the businesses of his friends in the salvage industry. H e was preceded in death by h is wife of 69 years, Mary F. Hasty, his parents Leonard and Grace Hasty, and t hree brothers, Earl, Jerald and Bill Hasty .  Left to cherish h is memory are his daughters, Emily Burkel (Kyle) of Tavernier, FL, Martha Clark (Taylor) of The Villages, FL, sons, Larry Hasty (Christie) of Cordova, TN, David Hasty (Kathy) of Southaven, MS, and Nathan Hasty (Rachel) of Bartlett, TN; and one sister, Margaret Mosbac h of Eureka, Il . Bob Hasty has been blessed with 12 grandchildren and 1 7 great-grandchildren. A family graveside service will be held the morning of December 1 st at Forest Hill Funeral Home East on Whitten Road.  901-382-1000.
