Letha L. Gruby, 87, of Whitehaven, TN, formerly of Wynne, AR, passed away on March 31, 2012. She was born on May 1, 1924 to Edward and Amanda Chaney of Forrest City, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gruby and her brother, Leroy Chaney; and is survived by her sister, Myrtle Horton of Wynne, AR; her daughter, Sharon Lichliter and son-in-law, Dr. Wayne Lichliter of Germantown, TN; her son Jim Gruby and daughter-in-law, Marsha Gruby of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Taylor, Andrew, Madison, Sheridan, Jenny, Jill and Nathan Morgan; and three great-grandchildren, Brodi, Jacob, and Lucas. Mrs. Gruby, a longtime member of Whitehaven Baptist Church, resided in Whitehaven for over fifty years. A beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at Forest Hill South Funeral Home, with a visitation preceding the ceremony.
