Lila Faye Logan was born May 30, 1938 in Tippah County Mississippi, the daughter of the late Claude and
Kitty Bessinger Hopper. She graduated from Chalybeate High School and retired from Schering Plough,
Inc. where she worked many years and had cherished friendships with her co-workers.
Lila is survived by her husband; John Logan of Memphis, TN, two sons Mike Arnwine of Bartlett, TN and
Scott Arnwine (Kim) of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Johnston (Johnny) and Rachael
Arnwine of Memphis, TN, Reagan Arnwine of Marietta, GA, and Logan Arnwine of Memphis, TN; one
great grandson Michael; three sisters, Shirley Cardwell of Cordova, TN, Janette Carpenter (Joe) of Ripley,
MS, Peggy Dixon of Cherokee, AL; and many special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Billy Hopper, Robert Hopper, Claude Hopper,
Jr., Richard Hopper, Ricky Joe Hopper; and one sister, Rita Hopper Childress.
She loved her family and especially cherished time with her grandkids. They are grateful for and will
cherish the memories of sleepovers, crafting, meals, movies, shopping trips and lots of love and
laughter.

Lila went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2022. She will be greatly missed by her family and
friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
