Lillie Mae Brazil passed away Friday morning, June 1, 2018, at Baptist Hospital after a short illness.  She was born in Shelby, MS on August 12, 1935 to the late Tom and Liddie Stephens.  Lillie graduated from nursing school in 1964 and worked in several hospitals in Memphis.  She retired from St. Francis Hospital in 1997.  Lillie had a great compassion for the sick and was very dedicated to all her patients.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Joseph Brazil; two daughters, Donna Dulin and Lynn Hopper; and a grandson, Brandon Dulin.  She is survived by two daughters; Sharon Walker, and Robin Burns; a son, Stephen Brazil (Angel); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  There was a small graveside service to honor her memory at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, on Monday, June 4, 2018.
