Obituary

Lillie Mae Compton, 95, of Coldwater, MS, passed away at her home December 14, 2015 with her family around her. She retired from American Electric and was a member of First Baptist Church - Southaven. Mrs. Compton was an avid gardener and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Compton; daughter, Betty Dooley, both of Coldwater; two sisters, Fannie Sue Lancaster of Coldwater, Elizabeth Ann Kreger of Tucson, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Tony, Michelle, Billy, Jr.; 5 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild. Mrs. Compton was preceded in death by her husband Otis Dews Compton; daughter, Cathy Moore; son, Billy Wayne Compton; infant son; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and grandchildren, Michael Wayne Hillier and Lisa Moore. Visitation will be 12 noon, Friday, December 18 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. A special thanks to the Staff of Ascera Care. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be sent to the Alzheimer''s Association.
